Running a Successful Campaign

Thank you for changing the lives of people in need with United Way of Greater Cleveland! You and your workplace are the key to making a change in Greater Cleveland.

Whether your workplace is a small office, large corporation or somewhere in between, it’s easy to run a workplace campaign. Our team can tailor a campaign that works for you and your place of business to help make a difference in Greater Cleveland.

If this is your first year running a campaign or you’ve been at it for many years, we’ll give you the resources you need to lead your workplace campaign and together, we will improve the lives of our Greater Cleveland neighbors living in poverty.

We appreciate that you will encourage your colleagues to step up and face the poverty crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic has devastated our community and our most vulnerable neighbors like children, families and seniors.

Before the pandemic’s start, we knew that Cleveland had the highest childhood poverty rate of any large city in the country, with more than half of Cleveland’s children living in poverty. Cleveland also has the second highest poverty rate in the nation for working age adults and the third highest poverty rate for seniors living in poverty.

It is clear that the COVID-19 pandemic has created a crisis upon a crisis.

Statistics are important, but this crisis is about people, from infants to senior citizens. Your participation in the Workplace Campaign is the first step toward helping our neighbors weather this storm.

This website is your resource to run a workplace campaign that rallies your colleagues for this common cause. Together, we will move the needle and bring lasting change.
